chattanooga children’s photography | the story of one thursday night

You may remember that last month I started a new monthly feature where, along with a few other amazing photographers, we post the story of certain elements of our lives. Then we link to the next brilliant photographer in the chain and so the chain goes along. It’s so awesome having this insight into their lives and I love sharing a bit of my life with my  fans. So this month I will be linking to the wonderful Anelle Richardson, so check at the bottom of the post for a link to her work.

This month, in my usual style, I waited and waited and waited.  I figured that the point is life stories.  I take a segment out of my life, which of course is usually chasing after my son and daughter, and share.  Just some snaps.  Some fun we had… with play-doh, drawing, and brownies afterwards.  My 20-month-old is attempting to say the alphabet.  My 3-year-old is proving to me to trust my heart when it comes to parenting.  Today he dressed himself (he was proud), brushed his teeth, and cleaned up his toys.  Independence is a welcomed thing.  I’m hoping to mix it up a bit next month and get more retrospective.  I can’t wait! For now…  my little joys again.

AND YES, the last picture is my favorite!  She’s kickin’ it for some brownies!

Head on over to Anelle Richardson’s blog for the next story in the series…

I love these Beth! I remember the Play-Do days and I don’t have a single picture —- too busy rolling cinnamon rolls and making the same little pizzas that I see. The last shot is perfection!

I agree with play-doh, I don’t think a parent could’ve invented this, you are brave!
