the story of bath time | chattanooga kids photography

You may remember that last month I started a new monthly feature where, along with a few other amazing photographers, we post the story of certain elements of our lives. Then we link to the next brilliant photographer in the chain and so the chain goes along. It’s so awesome having this insight into their lives and I love sharing a bit of my life with my  fans. So this month I will be linking to the wonderful Jen Snyder of Lux Amoris, so check at the bottom of the post for a link to her work.

So now on with my story… a story of a piece of the routine of our lives… bath time.  In this particular evening, I had big belly laughter… the kind of laughter that makes you feel like a kid again when my son said, “Mama, what is wrong with baby sister’s tummy?”  I paused for a second and grinned, “I don’t know, what do you think is wrong?”  He responded,”It’s getting bigger!”

Her tummy is a bit on the Winnie the Pooh large side.  And, oh do I ever so love it.

We had a lot of smiles, a lot of giggles, and bubble beard cheeks with wrinkly pink skin.  Mohawks are not mohawks here… they are called “chicken hawks.”   Then warm jammies, night time stories, and bedtime prayers.  I hope you enjoy;)
